Top Ten Tuesday: Books I'd Like to See Made Into Movies

In this weekly meme hosted by The Broke and the Bookish, I've made my list of my top ten books I'd like to see made into movies. This list will include movies that are already optioned or in production since I have yet to see them! One little disclaimer, though: I don't think every book would make a good movie, but I've included books with plots I think could be adapted or have a setting that would be breathtaking to see.
  1. Divergent by Veronica Roth
  2. Under the Never Sky by Veronica Rossi
  3. Delirium by Lauren Oliver
  4. The Hobbit by JRR Tolkein- I can't wait to see it!
  5. The Host by Stephenie Meyer
  6. City of Bones by Cassandra Clare
  7. Catching Fire by Suzanne Collins
  8. The Uglies by Scott Westerfield
  9. Matched by Ally Condie
  10. Partials by Dan Wells
What do you think of my list?

  1. Great list. I've got Divergent, Delirium and The Host on my TTT too.

  2. I like it! Divergent will make an awesome movie! I am excited for the day that they finally do The Host. Uglies is sort of on my list, too. But if I could only pick one Scott Westerfeld book to be made into a movie, I would have to go with Leviathan. So many cool gadgets and beasties and a girl disguised as a boy-good stuff.

  3. Yes, yes, yes to Divergent & Delirium! Woul love to see movies of those books.

I love receiving comments! I really do read every single one and I strive to respond to each comment that needs a response (and many more!).
